Create a variety of basic Shapes to use in your animations.
Pick a color from the Color Palette and click on the circle in the palette. Hold the left mouse button down and drag to create the circle shape you desire. If you want a perfect circle, hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard while you are drawing. The centre of the circle will be where you start drawing from. If you need to edit it again, just click on the Edit tab!
Pick a color from the Color Palette and click on the square in the palette. Hold the left mouse button down and drag to create the square or rectangle of your choice. If you want a perfect square, hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard while you are drawing. The corner of the square will be where you start drawing from. If you need to edit it again, just click on the Edit tab!
Pick a color from the Color Palette and click on the splash in the palette. Hold the left mouse button down and free draw your shape remembering to join up the ends. The shape will automatically fill with your chosen colour. If you need to edit it again, just click on the Edit tab!
Pick a color from the Color Palette and click on any of the available plygon shapes. Hold the left mouse button down on the frame and drag to draw. The centre of the polygon will be where you start drawing from, so rotate it while you are drawing to get the shape right. If you need to edit it again, just click on the Edit tab!
Pick a color from the Color Palette and click on the line in the palette. Slide the box up and down to choose the thickness of the line then hold the left mouse button down and drag to draw. If you need to edit it again, just click on the Edit tab!
Pick a color from the Color Palette and click on any of the available star shapes. Hold the left mouse button down on the frame and drag to draw. The centre of the star will be where you start drawing from, so rotate it while you are drawing to get the shape right. If you need to edit it again, just click on the Edit tab!

Before you start on the beautiful details of your animation, try drawing a simple outline. This way, you can get the overall composition looking great, and you can make sure everything's going to fit in the frame! Once you're filling in the details, you can start deleting your outline if you don't need it any more.
