Moderation and Approval

How quickly an animation is published depends on the age of the artist, and whether they are a Sketch Star Member. Members can publish instantly, or receive priority moderation, depending on their age. The publishing process for non-members is also affected by the artist's age.

Members aged 13 or over have their animations published instantly.

Members under 13 have priority moderation (faster than normal users).

Non-members have non-priority moderation, which may take longer.

Before 5 October 2009, Non-members under 13 could not publish publicly visible animations. Animations created by those artists before 5 October 2009 can only be seen by that artist.
